The 2023 Milwaukee Big Bang Fireworks show will be held Thursday, June 22 kicking off the first night of Summerfest. The live show will begin at 9:30 p.m. on the Summerfest grounds. A taped show will be broadcast on WISN-TV (Channel 12) at 10:30 p.m.

Here are five things to know about this year's Big Bang Fireworks show.

The live fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m. (weather permitting) on the Summerfest grounds at Henry Maier Festival Park.

The fireworks show is scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m. and last about 30-40 minutes.

Where will the Big Bang Fireworks be?

The Big Bang Fireworks show will take place on Summerfest grounds at Henry Maier Festival Park. WISN will be hosting the taped show from the top of Discovery World broadcast at 10:30 p.m.

Where are the best places to watch the fireworks?

Entrance to the Summerfest grounds is not free, and the Big Bang Fireworks will also be kicking off the start of the music festival with performers scheduled throughout the evening and after the fireworks show. So the festival grounds could be crowded. The fireworks will be visible all along Milwaukee's lakefront including Discovery World and Veterans Park.

WISN will broadcast a delayed HD viewing of the entire Big Bang Fireworks show at 10:30 p.m.
