Sisley Choi, 32, ranks first in TVB's 2022 performance report - TODAY

TVB actress Sisley Choi's star is on the rise.

Since winning Best Actress at the 2020 TVB Anniversary Awards for her performance in Legal Mavericks 2, Sisley, 32, has become one of the Hong Kong broadcaster's marquee names.

In an annual report released by TVB, it was revealed that Sisley, whose dramas ICAC Investigators 2022 and Forensic Heroes V were bona fide hits, had topped the 2022 performance chart.

The report takes into account the performance of artistes who were managed by TVB in the past year.

Over 160 stars were assessed, and those who appear on the first row of the report are recognised as the broadcaster's top guns.

Sisley emerged first in the list, a huge jump from being ranked 12th in 2021, leading Hong Kong media to declare her as TVB's 'Number 1 Sister'.

Other stars who made the top row include Moses Chan, Joel Chan and Nancy Wu.

Edwin Siu, Ali Lee, Kenneth Ma, and Mandy Wong appear on the second row of the list.

Ruco Chan, who said he turned down a job that would pay him millions just to stay with TVB, is found on the third row.

Sisley with her Best Actress award

Sisley got her start in showbiz after emerging first runner-up in the 2013 Miss Hong Kong Pageant. She was offered a TVB contract, and made her acting debut in 2014's Overachievers.

Though Sisley has often found herself the center of some pretty unsavoury rumours — she's been accused of being a gold-digger, for starters  she remains in high-demand.

She currently stars as a Chinese physician in the medical drama Let Me Take Your Pulse. The series also stars Matthew Ho, and tells the story of a group of young medical professionals who seek to establish a new-age Chinese medicine clinic.
