While Wednesday's winter storm is expected to pack a punch with heavy rain, strong wind gusts and some coastal flooding, snow won't be much of a factor except in northwestern New Jersey.
Snowfall projections are likely to fluctuate today leading up to the storm as the track and timing could shift. That could affect when snow transitions to rain in different parts of the state, leading to higher or lower snowfall totals.
Northwestern counties are expected to get up to 4 inches of snow with up to an inch likely in northeastern counties and portions of Central Jersey. South Jersey and along the Jersey Shore will see rain.
