This weekend, Netflix is welcoming a Turkish comedy-drama movie, a Japanese drama movie, and the highly-anticipated second season of one of the platform's most popular and successful TV series. The coronavirus pandemic hasn't ended yet, but the world is slowly going back to normal, and when it comes to entertainment, cinemas around the world are open and working normally again. However, that doesn't mean streaming platforms have lost any force, as they continue to be the main source of entertainment for many, and in Netflix's case, it makes sure that its subscribers always have something to watch by adding new licensed and original content every week.

Last weekend, Netflix added the movie One Piece: Strong World, the action crime drama A Walk Among the Tombstones, and the biopic The Butler, along with the documentary series Bad Vegan: Fame. Fraud. Fugitives, the biographical drama movie Rescued by Ruby, the action movie Black Crab, Big Mouth's spinoff series Human Resources, and the thriller Windfall. This weekend, Netflix won't see much licensed content, adding season 10 of Call the Midwife, Denis Villeneuve's Blade Runner 2049, and the heist movie King of Thieves.

Season 2 of the acclaimed period drama series Bridgerton is now available to stream. Based on Julia Quinn's novels, Bridgerton is a romantic, scandalous, and quick-witted series that celebrates the timelessness of enduring friendships, families finding their way, and the search for a love that conquers all. Bridgerton season 2 is based on the book The Viscount Who Loved Me, and follows Anthony Bridgerton's (Jonathan Bailey) love triangle between his bride-to-be and her older sister, Kate Sheffield.
