The United States Under-20 Men's National Team wrap up their world cup group stage efforts with a match against Qatar. Chances of advancement to the knockout stage look good for the Americans. That's the simple outlook. A win or a draw would pretty much guarantee their place, while they could even sneak in with a loss.

The particulars of how they can advance and in which position has been gone into in-depth on this reddit post. Read that whole thing if you're interested. For me, I'm more in this camp:

I'm just here to have fun and watch these talented youngsters do their thing. If they advance, awesome. If they don't, it doesn't change the fact that they have buckets and buckets of quality. Results are always secondary in these things. The great news is, the future of the programs looks to be in great hands.

Let's enjoy this team while we can.

Stunned by the extent of the White House's blanket refusal to comply with oversight by Congress, House Democrats are wrangling over whether to move forward with official impeachment proceedings of Donald Trump. AP's Lisa Mascaro explains. (May 14) AP, AP

WASHINGTON — In a newly released video from NowThis, actor Robert De Niro and more than 1,000 former federal prosecutors make the case for indicting President Donald Trump. Referring to a statement signed by the prosecutors, De Niro, who has played special counsel Robert Mueller on "Saturday Night Live," told viewers, "their conclusion should trouble us all."

De Niro went on to introduce a group of former prosecutors who discussed the special counsel's findings and explained why they believed Trump should be indicted.

"We all strongly believe that there is more than enough evidence to indict President Trump for multiple felony counts of obstruction of justice," said former assistant U.S. Attorney Jennifer Rodgers.

"The evidence shows that President Trump tried to stop, limit, and interfere with the Mueller investigation and other federal investigations surrounding him," added former U.S. Attorney Elie Honig.

The petition was created by a group called Protect Democracy, a group of former White House lawyers that aims "to prevent our democracy from declining into a more authoritarian form of government

The video's release comes as calls for impeachment have intensified among 2020 Democratic presidential contenders and congressional Democrats, especially after Wednesday's speech by special counsel Robert Mueller about his investigation's findings. Mueller said that under Department of Justice policy, they could not seek an indictment for Trump, so they did not make a judgment on a charge of obstruction of justice.

Princess Diana death attraction at National Enquirer Live? Not exactly - USA TODAY

Take a tour inside of Pigeon Forge's new National Enquirer Live! attraction, which is set to open on Friday, May 24, 2019 Brianna Paciorka, USA TODAY NETWORK – Tennessee

Reports have swelled since last week about a Princess Diana attraction at the new National Enquirer Live theme park. But such reports may have been exaggerated.

The 20,000-square-foot National Enquirer Live museum attraction in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, which opened Friday, does indeed include a Princess Diana component, but "first and foremost, there is no Princess Diana attraction," spokesperson Rick Laney told USA TODAY.

Pigeon Forge's new National Enquirer Live museum, a $15 million, 20,000-square-foot venture from FrontPage Attractions, brings the long-running American tabloid to life with interactive exhibits, games and reporter confessionals.

A Daily Beast exclusive generated intrigue into the exhibit featuring Princess Diana's death. It's been erroneously reported the attraction is a theme park and there's a fiery death crash scene ride, Laney said, though he set the royal record straight: The feature in question is simply a locator map of the path the car took the night she died.

The attraction includes 15 galleries visitors can walk through, one of which is focused on the royal family, called the Royals Closet. It features sliding doors and shelves with interactive walls you can touch. In the back of that gallery is a three-foot kiosk with a 3D map of Paris.

Princess Diana died Aug. 31, 1997, in a limousine crash with boyfriend Dodi Fayed in Paris' Pont de l'Alma tunnel after leaving the Ritz Paris hotel. Her death has been the subject of many a conspiracy theory. A voiceover tells visitors what happened to Diana, and the map lights up to show the route they took from the hotel.

"It's done in a positive fashion," Robin Turner, one of the principal investors of the attraction, told The Daily Beast. "It brings attention to the different theories behind it that the Enquirer has covered over the years…The biggest sensitivity of all is, do you think she was pregnant with Dodi's baby?"

Laney didn't anticipate the attraction would get this much attention. There's another location opening in Branson, Missouri, in June. Laney couldn't confirm whether the Princess Diana feature would also appear there.

"We've had a non-stop line since we opened the Pigeon Forge attraction," Laney said. He added that there were probably 300 people when it opened its doors on Friday with a line that stretched out to the parking lot, butguessed most weren't there because of Princess Diana but rather because the attraction is in a tourist town.

The museum also features a Kim Kardashian selfie station, a Michael Jackson room and much more, according to the Knoxville News Sentinel.

USA vs. Nigeria, U-20 World Cup 2019: Time, TV schedule and live stream - Stars and Stripes FC

Posted: 27 May 2019 07:00 AM PDT

The U-20 World Cup didn't being like the United States and Tab Ramos hoped it would. Despite an inspiring first half performance that featured some scintillating attacking play by the Americans, Ukraine came away with all three points. This leaves the U.S. in desperate need of a result in their second group match against Nigeria.

The Super Eagles smashed Qatar 4-0 in their first match. While it's possible for the U.S. to still advance to the knockout rounds without winning or drawing this match thanks to the format, it would not be ideal to leave their World Cup fate up to math.

It's easy to see why there's so much attention being paid to this U-20 crop. Individually, the whole squad looks packed with quality. From the players at big European clubs like Konrad de la Fuente and Tim Weah to the MLS players such as Paxton Pomykal. The quality is obvious. It's just a matter of consistency. The passing move displayed on the team's lone goal against Ukraine was inspiring. We just need to see more of that and less defensive mistakes.
